    Just catching up with some posts I missed over the last couple of months and this video was interesting. Bit of a shock to find the guy is 81! Isn't he doing well? Also interesting looking on the net after watching this that Mythbusters was able to reproduce his findings with plants, that is, readings from an EEG when the plants were harmed, but they couldn't reproduce the other findings, such as EEG responses from white blood cells separated from the body.

    I didn't know that, Caerus. What got me was that unfertilized eggs have heartbeats. I was making exceptions to eating eggs in pastries but not anymore since I've learned that eggs always have heart beats. It's a bit of a puzzle to me because I can't quite come up with a good answer of why chickens lay eggs on a daily basis (with sunlight of course). I know my dog used to a love an egg or two a week (kept his coat shiny). And other animals do too. But knowing there was a heart beat I just can't go there anymore...at least not until I meditate more about this and get a better answer.

    Perhaps it is for eggs contain life or are able to contain life. My stomach is not really fond of egg hence I am not eating it. Basically the building blocks for a new life can be found within an egg, not much of a difference between an egg and ovum within women and mammals. Without fertilization the ovum will in a way die and the building blocks lost in the ovulation.

    The fact the egg experiment could not be reproduced elsewhere would make me wonder if the EEG was picking up something else - or even the researcher's signals?

    It's possible, Caerus. I think we live in a world where our logic often says "that's impossible" or we draw logical conclusions and then Nature throws us for a surprise. Not sure yet as I haven't done enough research and have not meditated about it. I figured since I wouldn't eat a woman's eggs or fish eggs, no chicken eggs for me either.
