The Gospel of Thomas was discovered along with other Gospels, in Nag Hammadi, Egypt, in 1945. These Gospels were rejected by the established church and judged as heretical. You will come to understand what they were afraid of, when I disclose the correct interpretation of the Secret Teachings of Jesus, as given in the Gospel of Thomas. There are 114 sayings in the Gospel of Thomas, each is called a logion.

Here you will discover the true Gospel of the Kingdom. It is the Gospel spoken of in Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The Truth will devastate all religious and political organisations that have been built on materialism and established through the use of tyranny, fear, deception and murder. They are the blind who blinded those that they converted. How much will they have to bear when those that they have blinded are given sight?

I see a world on its knees praying for the end. I see those that have been blinded being led to the abyss, and even though there is a Bible in every nation, I see only wars, conflict, death, disease and famine. I see a world where children are abused and indoctrinated with materialism, Darwinism, and selfishness.

I see a world being enslaved and conditioned in preparation for the total rule of the spiritually dead.

These are the last days, for even as you read these words, the Gospel of the Kingdom is being received in all the world, in every nation.

I am from the undivided. I have been anointed by the Holy Spirit. I have come to prepare you for your anointing, for a Christ seeks only to bring forth the Christhood in others. I am here to deliver the Truth that will set you free. I am your brother, the son of our Father, and the Gospel of the Kingdom is a witness to all the world, to all nations.

My words are my witness. Prepare to see what has been hidden from you. The Secret Teachings are secret no more, for no-one can now silence them.
    Love and blessings
    William

THe Gospel of Thomas is a quasi Gnostic document, part of the Nag Hammadi discovery in the 20thC.
It dates possibly to the late 1stC possibly early 2ndC. This is a period when a small Christian community was highly varied with very different ideas and "Christianities." Thomas belongs to this period of intense argument when there was no organised Church to crush free speech and independent interpretation.
The result was creative and chaotic with for example the Valentinians who saw God as both female and male, worshipping Mary as Goddess. Jesus was at this time anything from messiah or deity, to Jesus as human spiritual guide.
Thom,as is deliberately vague and cryptic on its theology. It offers saying many of which can be interpreted in many different ways, rather like Taoism.
Like the gospel of Mary (Magdalene) Tomas champions direct experience of God with no need of a priesthood.
Heaven lies within us - our power, our freedom lies within, not outside as something to be given to us.
Thomas rarely sets rules. His Jesus advises against fasting, praying, and the giving of alms (all contrary to Christian practice and Jewish traditions of the time).
We are called to knowing the self in direct simple manner, sometimes called being "as a child" or "a little one."
There is a strong challenge to dualism (right/ wrong, good/ evil, dark /light, male/ female) and instead a call for wholeness and balance.
Thomas cuts away any certain, definite knowledge of Jesus. Instead we are asked to look within to find goodness and strength. There is no doom or end of the world nonsense. Thomas is about living fully and sensitively, with honour, in a world that could be beautiful.

Thanks for sharing, Morgain! I believe the gospels were inspired by the Holy Spirit, sometimes human interpretation can distort the true meaning of its message. Only God through the Holy Spirit working in us, will enable us to understand His message and accept God's truth.

Very much so. The Bibles both Hebrew and Christian have been quarrelled over by powerful factions which have changed the text many times over. This was increasingly governed by political and financial motives after the Church Councils got going, and Constantine's grand-daughter Pulcheria took Chrisianity in her ruthless but very capable hands. Quite a lady,.

Some of the fascination of biblical scholarship is teasing out fragments which show they are earlier or later perhaps by several centuries. This can show through the later yanking about because of the style or words - spelling for example.

Well I guess what you call Holy Spirit I would call sacred intelligence - the gift of Lord Lucifer in some mythologies. Not so different really. Still a divine gift.
Although Lucifer, and Aradia, son and daughter of the Goddess, both demand that we think for ourselves. They came to earth as Son and Daughter of the Goddess to show us how to be truly free.
It's very very easy to just submit obediently to some Higher Power we set up as an idol - which is really a big fat excuse for being lazy and cowardly. That's the wide easy path that leads to weakness, and confusion for eventually life bangs us with too much complexity for this to work.
The divinity of Life refuses to let us remain as slaves. It kicks us, whimpering protests, trying to burrow into the duvet of non-thinking and blind obedience, until at last we are born free.

There's much in the Bibles of interest. But if we take it uncritically without examining it carefully it's a big mess because stories got merged together and bits left out. Poor old Jesus got given about five personalities!
One Hebrew Bible text is supposedly telling us not to suffer a Witch to live. Actually the word used means poisoner which makes a lot more sense. I do believe in respect for the Ancestors whose rules were far wiser than we usually think. But we need to get at what they SAID.

Then of course there's the famous God created Adam text early in Genesis (Hebrew Bible).
A modern interpretation has it that God created man is his own image. That has caused no end of trouble especially for women. The original Hebrew says the Gods created humanity in their own image. Big implications for women there - men are our equals, not our inferiors or superiors of course. But also that there are many Gods - and the Hebrews were originally a Goddess people as in Solomon's Temple to the Great Goddess of the time. Jehovah's Queen was I think Asherah but he got nasty about her later bad tempered little boy that he could be! His Mother has been gett6ing him to behave better recently thank heavens.
